Creating a Report on the Material Removal Video

This procedure describes the video report feature. After material removal simulation, you have the option of saving a report about the details of the simulation in a text file.
  The report lists the time taken for each operation as well as the time taken for each tool being used for material removal.
Complete the procedures as described in Accessing NC Manufacturing Verification and Comparing the Machined Stock Part and the Design Part, including:
  • Accessing NC Manufacturing Verification via Replay Tool Path
  • Clicking Full Video   within the Replay dialog box
  • Selecting Setup Editor from the Window menu.
    The Replay dialog box remains visible.

  1. Click Video Report in External File .
    The Save As dialog box appears.

  2. Navigate to the directory in which you wish to save the report file, enter a name for the file, and click Save.
 

About the Video Report
  A sample report appears below. The amount of time each tool is used for material removal appears first, followed by the machining time for each operation.
