This procedure describes how to edit the positions and states of objects
after their positions and states have already been saved in a Position
object.
Starting with release R18 you can find the three new commands in the State Management Tools toolbar: |

Synchronize Position |
|
The command Synchronize Position is a new command in release R18 in the
State Management Tools toolbar. After starting the command you can
select a state, a absolute or a relative position in the tree.
In this example you will see how you synchronize a position. It is the same procedure as for a state. Initial situation: The picture below shows the tree without the selection of a position.

In this example POS1 is selected and object moved to the active position in the 3D viewer which is defined for the State or Position:

Modify Position |
|
The command Modify Position is a new command in release R18 in the State
Management Tools toolbar. Only the absolute or the relative position can
be modified. In this example you will see how you can modify the position e. g. for the Position POS 1 as we show in the example for the command Synchronize Position. This picture shows the synchronized position POS1 from the example of the command Synchronize Position.

Redefine Reference Object |

The command Redefine Reference Object is a new command in the State
Management Tools toolbar. The command can be applied only to a relative
Position.
The picture below shoes the current relative position of POS4_relative.
With the help of the command Synchronize Position, you can show the changed relative position – like the picture below shows.
