Troubleshooting JavaScript

  JavaScript

JavaScript is not enabled.  JavaScript must be enabled before Express Setup or CMS will start.

  Enabling JavaScript in Netscape

Step 1 Choose Edit > Preferences to open the Preferences window.
Step 2 Click Advanced under Category to display the Advanced preferences.
Step 3 In the Advanced area, check Enable JavaScript, then click OK.
Step 4 Click here to return to the previous page. 
  • If you are running Express Setup and JavaScript has been enabled, the Express Setup Home page will display with device summary information.   
  • If you are trying to start CMS, and if all setup problems are corrected, you will be directed to the CMS splash screen. The splash screen will show that CMS is starting successfully.

  Enabling JavaScript in Internet Explorer

Step 1 Choose Tools > Internet Options.
Step 2 Click the Security tab.
Step 3 Click Custom Level. The Security Settings window opens.
Step 4 Scroll down to Scripting and click Enable under Active scripting.
Step 5 Click OK and then click Yes in the Warning dialog box.
Step 6 Click OK to close the Internet Options window.
Step 7 Click here to return to the previous page.
