graPHIGS Application Development Toolkit Package

The graPHIGS Application Development Toolkit Package contains the include files for developing graPHIGS applications for AIXwindows. This package also contains tools, sample source code, a graPHIGS tutorial, and the GKS library files.

Fileset Names

PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt.clients	graPHIGS Application Development Clients Contains the graPHIGS tools, such as the font editor, the graPHIGS debugger, and slicer ISO.
PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt.gks	graPHIGS Application Development GKS Library Contains the graPHIGS library files that support the Graphic Kernel System (GKS) - Compatibility Option.
PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt.include	graPHIGS Application Development Include Files Contains the graPHIGS include files.
PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt.samples	graPHIGS Application Development Samples Contains the graPHIGS sample source code, including programs to get you started with writing and running graPHIGS programs, ISO C-binding sample programs, conferencing programs, and so on.
PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt.tutor	graPHIGS Application Development Tutorial Contains the graPHIGS tutorial which is designed to teach basic graPHIGS concepts.

Special Installation Notes

The PEX_PHIGS.graPHIGS.adt package requires the graPHIGS Base Run-Time Environment. However, if you plan to use the SoftGraphics technology, you will need to install the graPHIGS Soft Run-Time Environment and Soft Pipeline filesets.
