Linking Policy
Want to link to a page on our site? Please feel free to do so! However, so you don't disappoint viewers of your site, please read the following:
Ever followed a link off of a site you were reading because it contained an important bit of information you really needed, only to be greeted with a:
Groan. Bothersome--just when you were trying to get somewhere and might have, that error appears.
Well, to keep that from happening, I generally don't delete or move any page on this site for that very reason. However, there are some pages that can change drastically. That, and once or twice I've been known to delete pages that were no longer useful or didn't fit updates to this site.
If you do plan to link to something I have here--please link to HTML pages only. Don't link to images or other files, as I have been known to change the locations of such files every once in a while.
This is where you, the webmaster of the other site come in at--you need to periodically check your external links (and your internal ones, too!) to make sure they work. Then, in the unlikely event you find a link you made to my site that doesn't work, let me know and we can work together on bringing it back!
