Customer has been printing code 128 barcode using the IBM package 5688-
021 on MVS. He is moving to a RISC/6000 system and needs to print
code 128 barcode from data that originates on the RS/6000. Is there a
version of the sub-routine that is contained in 5688-021 in "c" or some
language that is supported on the RS/6000?

| With current PTFs for PPFA for AIX and ACIF for AIX, PSF for AIX
| now supports BCOCA in a pagedef to those printers that support the
| BCOCA IPDS tower, as well as to PSF for AIX-attached PCL and PPDS
| printers. Please see HONE FLASH 9636 for additional information.
Boulder does not provide an AIX version of the barcode subroutine.
However, you may wish to contact Hugo Castro, IBM Printing Systems
in Argentina. They were working to port the subroutine to C. Last
I heard (6/30/95), they had interleaved 2-of-5 working, but needed
additional testing on 3-of-9 and particularly Code 128.
You will have to check with him on costs and support as well as code
