Customer is running PSF in an HACMP environment. It is being used
on an active system with a backup system simply 'standing by'
waiting for the active system to fail. Does the customer need to
purchase 2 licenses of PSF, 1 for the active system and 1 for the
stand by system? Or does he only need to purchase 1 PSF license
for the active system that can be used on the stand by system in the
event that the active system fails?

In the environment you describe, you will only need to purchase one
license of PSF for AIX. Be sure to purchase the appropriate tier for
the fastest printer PSF/AIX will be driving.
