Hi,
my customer has some deskside disks and would like to store them in a
R00 rack.
Is there a way to modify the following models from deskside to rack ?
7137-414 , 7135-110, 7135-210 and 7133-500 ?

ANSWER :
Unfortunately, due to the physical differnences of the
enclosures of the 7137 and 7133 series, these systems cannot be
converted from deskside to rack.
Although, a conversion for the 7135-110 and 7135-210 from
deskside to rack is possible, this is not officially supported by IBM.
However, this conversion can be achieved by obtaining appropriate
mounting hardware that will be compatible with the R00. Referring to
pages 5-2 through 5-5 (and their associated illustrations) in the
"7135 Installation and Service Guide" (publication number SY33-0181-
05), the following parts can be ordered to accomplish the conversion:

375867 nut, clip
67G1531 back mounting screw, hex/socket head
1622276 washer
1624779 screw, hex/washer head
