URGENT AUX PCI CABLES-DO THEY EXIST
ITEM: RTA000054711
QUESTION:
My customer has a RISC Model 58H installed with four 9334-501's attached
to it. Each 9334 came with 1-2GB disk drive in it, along with features
9237 - standard 8M SCSI2 cable, 9300 1-US, 9800 1-Line Cord, 1-9850
100-120V 50/60HZ.
What they want to do is order cables, they call them "power sequencer
cables" and say that what these cables do is that when the RISC system
is shut down, they shut the drives down in the proper sequence.
I am unable to find these cables anywhere. I found cable number 6005
for the model R24 which seems to do something similar and the
pages from the RISC Ssytem 550L, 57X and 58X Hardware Technical
Information, that show Aux PCI calbes that allow end user to attach
multiple 9334's to the CPU in a loop.
But., I can find a reference to these PCI cables in our salesmanual,
therefore my customer cannot order them and they want them. If they
exist for the 58H and they have a feature code, please give it to me,
if not, do you have cable pinouts so I can tell them what they need to
build. This is critical, the 9334's are on site at end user location
and they feel they need these cables and that they forgot to order them.
Please advise and thanks.

A: The PCI cables which you need have part number 42F6839. I cannot
find a specific feature code for the cables alone, but this should
suffice.
Parts can be ordered via part number through Boulder Parts.
Thank you.
