N40 RESET BUTTON AND 1280X1024 DISPLAY QUESTION
ITEM: RTA000042801
QUESTION:
I have 2 questions on the new N40. In the manual it says I change the
resolution to 1280x1024 by typing the command "chres -X 1280x1024".
When I type this it complains: Unknown resolution names 1280x1024.
Possible values are Intvga Extvga and Vga. Is this suppose to work,
or is it a misprint in the manual?
Second question, how do I do a reset if the system locks up with 888? I
have read the manual twice and found no reference to the use of a reset
switch. I have fixed this by removing the battery, but this is tricky.

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS:
To do a reset, one must press the pause key + R. To use the display
at 1280x1024, type fbconfig -X 1280x1024 before starting X-windows.
