PRINTING ERROR WHEN PRINTING TO A 4033 ATTACHED

Q: When attempting to print from a remote print client to a 4029
attached to a 4033 LAN connection device I receive the error
'-H flag not expected'. Both the print server and the print client
are using AIX version 3.2.2. What is causing this error?

The instructions for the 4033 tell the user to copy colon files for the
4029 printer onto the AIX machine from the supplemental utilities
diskette.
This is fine for 3.1.x. This is not fine for 3.2.x. This is copying
3.1.5 colon files to AIX 3.2. Which does not work.
The problem this causes appears when doing remote printing to the 4029
from a print client. A error message '-H flag not expected' will
display on the print client and the job will not print.
The solution is to simply re-add the 4029 colon files on the print
server. These files are located in the directory '/usr/lpd/pio/predef'.
