OEC GA 1.1 TOOLS - SQLMAKE LIMITATIONS ON LENGTH

QUESTION:                                                                       
I am using the GA 1.1 release of the OEC Tools under AIX on a RISC/6000.        
My client isn't even involved at this point.. I am simply trying to             
run SQLMAKE on my sql file for my database server (db2/6000).                   
SQLMAKE doesn't seem to accept any SQL statements that are over 200             
bytes in length. (I get an error: "Line too long" from SQLMAKE)                 
Is there any way around this limit?? It is very unreasonable                    
considering almost any SQL statement which specifies a few columns              
or does an insert, or a subselect will EASILY reach this limit. If this         
is the case, half of the SQL statements we need to write for our project        
can not be processed with SQLMAKE (and its not even complex statements)         
I've already shortened the column names on the tables but its still             
not enough.

A: Try breaking at a comma on your SQL statement line and continue              
   on the next line.  You can also continue to a new line after an              
   and as well.  If you try this and it does not help let me know.              
   I will need a copy of your sql file so that I can see how best
