HOW TO DETERMINE WHAT FILES ARE IN USE BY A

QUESTION:                                                                       
I've reviewd item CFQTB but it only answers a part of the question.             
I am looking for a way to determine what files are in use by a                  
given process.... i.e. given an active process id, how can I                    
determine what files that process is using?

A: There is no official tool, process or command that will provide this         
   information.  However, there is a package on the AIXTOOLS tools disk         
   called "OPENFILE" that appears to provide this function.  If you are         
   looking for something more official, I suggest you use the "REQUEST"         
   function on HONE to make this requirement known to development.              
   Your only other option would be to contact the AIX SYSTEMS CENTER            
   to request that something more official be written, but this would           
   be a "for a fee" service.  The AIX SYSTEMS CENTER can be contacted          
   via VM ID "AIXSERVE" at "DALVM41B".
