CICS/6000: RECEIVING ERROR MESSAGE WHILE TRYING TO BRING UP DCE SECURITY SERVER.

QUESTION:
Customer has just upgraded their RS6000 to AIX 3.2.5 and
after varying software for DCE and attempting to bring up
the Security Server received the following message.
2 files missing
FILE/USER/LPP/DCESEC/INSP_ROOT/VAR/DCE/SECURITY/RGY_DATA
UNIX could not be located.
The customer upgraded the software thru SMIT, could you
help research this error message and explain what the error
message is, and how we resolve the problem in order to bring
up the DCE security server.

A: This appears to be a problem with the installation of your security
server. I suggest that you reinstall the dcesec.obj (the security
server module). When doing this through SMIT, you should observe the
output and look for any error messages; SMIT may say the installation
was successful even if it wasn't complete. If error messages do
appear, try reinstalling all of the DCE modules that you need. If
you receive any error messages during the installation, please append
the full text of the error messages to this item.
The error you're receiving hasn't been previously reported, but it
appears to be a problem with the installation. I think some error
messages may have been overlooked during the installation. However,
if you don't receive any error messages while reinstalling, I'll
need some more information on how the current problem is occurring:
1. When does the error message appear? (Is it the output of a command
you're running? Is it appearing on a SMIT screen? etc.)
2. What is the full text of the error message? The error message
you've given me doesn't look like it's in the format of a DCE
error message. Is there additional text in the message? Is it
part of the output of some command? (If so, please append the
rest of the output to this item).
3. Any other information you feel might be necessary.
