QUESTION:                                                                       
Can a C DARI stored procedure call another DARI stored procedure, this

A:  The programming guide specifically mentions COBOL DARI programs             
     and mentions they must be linked, which would indicate the                 
     two programs could be compiled and linked together into one                
     module.  If this is a restriction it is not specifically                   
     mentioned.  I am  following your PMR 7X264 B017 which                      
    is specifically testing this.

QUESTION:                                                                       
PMR 7X264 addresses a C client program on DOS calling a COBOL DARI              
stored procedure on AIX.  My question was about using sqlgproc to call          
another COBOL DARI stored procedure from inside a COBOL DARI stored             
procedure.  Will the call to the DARI API (sqlgproc) work if the two            
COBOL stored procedures are statically linked together?                         
                                                                                
By the way, I closed 7X264 an hour ago on the use of the MF compile             
option "sqlinit" for stored procedures.

A: Every reference to invoking the DARI procedure mentions invoking             
   the sqlgproc() on the client side.  This invokes the DARI                   
   procedure which could be two programs linked together.                       
   I can find no reference of using the sqlgproc() within the DARI
