problem: unable to see his 6611's, aix-based devices, or 2210's.
product: nways workgroup manager for aix, v 1.2.2
action taken: this has been wokring fine since jim kellock installed
it awhile back. the software is able to discover all
the devices, but when the cust clicks on a device, he
receives a server connection failure.

CUstomer having problems bringing up JMA view for anything˘(6611,2210,
etc.)
The system was working when Jim K. was there but not now.
Running Java1144.
The only Java process running is Apploader.
I had customer check the NwaysJavaWrapper file...length 4471.
This does not match my OLD file length nor my NEW file length for the
changed file.
Customer gave me info for logging into his machine tomorrow morning
as he leaving for today.
Check with DEFECT on NwaysJavaWrapper and log into customer machine to
check it.

Customer replaced NwaysJavaWrapper file from eSS download after stopping
NV(also ovstop).
When coming back up, gets messege IVS9408W: Create of Subsystem failed
Also, message IVS2202W: Failed to send message.
This error was associated with an 8230 that was in NWays submap and IP
map but should not have been according to NV seedfile. Customer removed
from NWays and all other maps and REORGd MAT DB. Still get same error
on bringup og NV EUI.
Also, getting message IVS3725E: Application Rnvch timed out Request
Broker
(Network Mgmt Toolkit fatal error...appl Rnvch content class library
at line 390....."
Checked ed.conf and found Rnvch with "NO_SYNC_AT_START" and at head of
file. Moved it to end just prior to Rnvgate and removed the sync parm.
On next startup of NV, no more errors.
Problem resolved.
