Mail from the customer:
This concerns TME10 NetView and NWays Manager AIX v1.2.
We would like to upgrade Net View from 4.1.2 to v5 but then I must
also upgrade Nways Manager from 1.1 to 1.2.1.
At the website/page: http://www.networking.ibm.com/cma/tips.html
it is stated that there is a memory leak in the LNM application and
the advice on that pag is to NOT use the LNM part.
Since we are still using LNM (Lan Network Manager) for OS/2 we want
to be able to connect it to NetView AIX (which is done through LNM for
AIX that is included in Nways Manager AIX).
The question is, is there any fix for the memory leak problem?
On the above referenced website it is mentioned that this will be fixed
in a later version. Will there not be a sooner solution to this?
When will the next version of Nways and NLM be released?
