Customer could not install NWAYS due to not having Java.rte installed.
Instructed customer to download from FTP server @ aix.boulder.ibm.com/
software/java/aix/11/114/supported/GA/Java.rte and Java.adt.
Customer will download and install via SMIT.
Waiting for customer callback with status udpate or need for further
assistance.

Customer downloaded and installed Jave.rte 1.1.4 but gets install
error message:
install.nways 161: Java: not found
I indicated to customer that the installed Java.rte 1.1.4 is supported
but the installation media must have a specific Java level check
rather than a minimum Java level check.
Research and call customer back.

Logged into customer machine last Friday afternoon...indication was that
the Java.rte and adt were installed and at 1.1.4 level. The indication
on starting the NWAYS install was "java: not found".
Inspection revealed that "java" was not foundą The usual /usr/bin/java
was not present...the install had suffered a "core".
I performed a de-install of the Java components...reinstalled starting
with Java.rte then .adt which went OK this time. The customer was setup
for c-shell and the root environment had a setup error for the PATH
which I pointed out to customer but did not remedy.(// in PATH).
Instructed customer to start NWAYS re-install which was successful this
time.
PMR closed.
