I'd like to know about some events of NetView/6000.
Q1. Some of the events seen as the result of "event -l" command
have "flags" related desciption.
They are
"Network Flags Changed (50790443)",
"Segment Flags Changed (507904445)",
"Node Flags changed (50790445)",
"Interface Flags changed (50790446)".
What does these "flags" mean?
Q2. Also this command shows us there exist "SNMP Status Event".
What does this event mean?
ANSWER
The flags are internal to HP and IBM's development and mean nothing to
the user. The SNMP status event, likewise, is left over from HP code
and does not apply to NetView for AIX specifically.
