GDQF , DCF and BOOKMASTER will run in AIX RISC/6000 environment ?
If not , which is the IBM architecture (and products) in AIX
environment in order to compose manuals containing text , images and
drawings and then print by PSF/6000?
ANSWER
After searching through announcement letters I was unable
to locate an IBM application that will allow the composing of
manuals in the AIX environment. However, BookManager READ/6000
will allow you to use the RISC System/6000 to view the manuals.
You may also wish to look in HONE swapplic. I was able to find
the following OEM applications that may handle the customers
needs:
Softquad
Interleaf 5
WordPerfect 5.1
FrameMaker
Because I was not able to locate an application that can handle
these specific formats, I am unware of a method used by PSF/6000
to print these formats.
