I received a query from a customer regarding the "compartmentalized
workstation" - which he describes as an AIX modification that
does not allow root to access users' accounts.
Is the feature available on the IBM AIX?? Or could he be referring
to the Harris system with B1 certification?
ANSWER
The feature you describe where root cannot access user accounts
is not available on IBM AIX and is not available as an RPQ.
We are unfamiliar with the Harris system and can not comment
on its features or functionally.
