How can I update AIX 4.1 to AIX 4.1.1. It is not descriped in the docu-
mentation for 4.1.1 (063650).
When I run the update of all installed programs from smit, the update
fails with following commments:
Installable filesets X11.base.smt 4.1.1.0 and X11.base.common 4.1.0.0
have different levels.

The steps that you will need to do are the same steps that would be used
upgrade from AIX 3.2.5 to AIX 4.1.1. The basic steps are as follows:
1) Insert the AIX 4.1.1 installation media into the respective drive
type.
2) Boot the machine with the key in the service position. The system
will boot off the installation media.
3) When the system comes up, change the installation settings as
desired.
4) Choose to Install AIX and then choose migration install. This
will update the system to AIX 4.1.1.
