Reorgvg problem under aix 4.1.1

On aix 4.1.1 I change a LV to be positioned in the center and allows            
it to relocate under reorgvg, but the "reorgvg rootvg " fails           
with "0516-010 lqueryvg: Volume group must be varied on; use varyonvg           
command", "0516-968 reorgvg: unable to reorganize volume group",                
"0516-304 putlvodm: unable to find device id 00020646bca558e2 in the            
dev. conf. database". "lspv hdisk0" states: PV IDENTIFIER                       
00020646bca558e2. The system is migrated from 3.2.5. I have tried the           
varyonvg with various options but it does not help. I have 400 MB space         
free on the disk, and the LV that I want to move is 32 MB.                      
                                                                                
                                                                                
                                                                                
ANSWER                                                                          
    This has been reported as a problem in AIX 4.1.x.  The APAR number          
    is IX48833.  This fix should be shortly available and is a fix for         
    the 4.1.2 level.  I verified that the same problem exists in 4.1.2          
    so, when the fix becomes available you will need to install this            
    to an AIX 4.1.2 level.
