Is it possible to mount NFS VM or MVS filesytems on a RS/6000, and to
backup these filesystems with ADSM/6000 ?
ANSWER
Yes it is possible to do this. In order to allow ADSM to successfully
read the VM/MVS NFS mounted minidisks, you must add the following
to the dsm.opt file for the client:
dotdircheck no
this will allow ADSM to cope with the fact that minidisks do not have
the . and .. file system entries.
