Hi, my customer is buying a 7131-105 with 2508 device (single ended to
differential converter card). He want now to plug this 7131 on a 2415
(SCSI-2F/W) : is it possible to remove manually the 2508 on 7131-105 ?

Answer..........:
Yes you can manually remove the 2508 SE to DIFF converter card from
the 7131-105. The SE to DIFF converter card attaches to the backplane
of the 7131 via the internal SCSI Controller Connector(see pg. 1-10
for diagram). To remove the SE-DIFF converter card you can simply
unplug this cable from the card, remove the card, and mount the cable
to the external port of the system.
Pages 3-38 and 3-48 give procedures for installing and removing the SE
to DIFF converter card. These might be helpful when you remove the
card.
