LU2 API problem

Question:
one of my customer has an LU2 application that runs fine
using SNA Server 2.1 (level 1.3.93.495 + U427073/4) after
upgrading to 2.1.2 (level 1.3.95.050 - U436836/7) the
application fails: it stops on a snaread waiting for
the first screen sent from host.
The snatrace doesn't show any error and till SSCP-LU
sessions activation behaviour and snatrace contents
are the same.
Customer has had to go back to 2.1. We know there are newer
levels of SNA Server for AIX 3.2 nowadays but we must be sure
this problem has been fixed before going further.
A known problem?

There was no change in the interface for SNAREAD between
the two levels so this does look like a defect. I would suggest that
you bring your 2.1.2 SNA server code up to the latest PTF level -
U441784/5. I do not know of a specific fix for this problem but your
level is old and there have been many fixes out since those.
If that does not resolve the problem, you should report your problem
as a defect through your normal channels.
