Trying to configurin dhcp in DDNS environment i need some
clarifications.
In order to activate DDNS feature i inserted in /etc/dhcpsd.cnf file
the following line:
updateDNS "/usr/sbin/dhcpaction '%s' '%s' '%s' '%s' BOTH NONIM
>>/tmp/upd
ns.out 2>&1 "
and in the named.boot file I added:
primary domain.name /etc/db.domain.name dynamic controlled
primary in-addr.arpa /etc/db.in-addr.arpa dynamic controlled
Then i refreshed the named and stop and start the dhcpsd.
Dhcp client connects itself with the assigned address, but the
DNS doesn't seem to receive any request for update.
I traced the line and I cannot see any traffic between dhcp server
and DNS server.
How can I get this environment working fine?
