to write his own application for multiprotocol

In particular for HDLC he need to work with UI (unnumbered information)

RESPONSE:
The solution we have is to use AIXLink X.25 version 1.1.3 with
either of the following adapters:
ISA X.25 Coprocessor/1 (1 port V.24, V.35, or X.21)
ISA Artic Multiport Modle 2 (8 ports V.24, or 6 ports V.35, or
6 ports X.21)
With AIXLink X.25 you can use the DLPI programming libraries,
covered in 6-1 to 6-24 of the AIXLink X.25 Guide and Reference
(SC23-2520-02), to write information directly to level 2
(LAPB) of the X.25 layers. Sample code to write and recieve
information across LAPB is contained in /usr/samples/sx25/npi
as dlpiclient.c and dlpiserver.c.
Thank you for using AIX Support services.
