Any problems with RIP running on HACMP system?

ENV: AIX v3.2.5, HACMP v2.1
 DESC: Wants to if there are any known problems with Routing Information
      Protocol (RIP).  One of the system administrators wants to turn on 
      RIP for the cluster nodes. 
 ACTION: There are no known problems running RIP with HACMP.  Usually, 
        running RIP entails starting the routed daemon which, unlike 
        the gated daemon, only implements the Routing Information 
        Protocol.  
         HACMP's built in arp cache managment in case of an adapter 
        failure/swap would take care of deleting and adding routes
        to ensure that packets would start going over the new adapter
        or interface.
