PSF user getting message from qdaemon, device died

Env:  Aix 3.2.5
     PSF 6000
Desc:  Customer has a 3892 printer that is attached to the RISC via 
        the network.  He has one queue with 4 devices associated with
        that queue.  When he prints to that queue, each device will 
        print some (roughly 80 pages ) go down and then go to the next
        device, and so on.  After it's tried all the devices it will 
        queue up in the last device.

Action:  Customer called to say that the problem was resolved.  He
        increased the size of /var and the printer was now able to 
        print the full 500 page documents.
