AIX 4.1.X boots to C31

    Model 320, AIX 4.1.2

DESC: 
customer is attempting to install AIX 4.1.2 on a 320 with the
high performance 3d graphics adapter (2780) and a 5081-16 terminal.
The graphics adapter and terminal work fine a 3.2.5.  It boots to a
C31 in service mode with the AIX 4.1.2 tape and nothing is sent to
the display.

      There are no plans to support the following hardware on AIX
      Version 4:
   o   High-Performance 8-Bit 3D Color Graphics Processor
   o   High-Performance 24-Bit 3D Color Graphics Processor

The High-Performance 8- or 24-Bit Color Graphics Processor provides 3D
color graphics capability for the deskside systems.  The 8-bit adapter
(\#2780) supports a single 8-bit frame buffer that allows 256
simultaneous colors from a palette of approximately 16.7 million
colors.
