What do I have to do to for my cron jobs to run at the right time
on the day we switch from daylight to standard time.

I explained that no action is required at any time to have jobs run
correctly when time is referenced from the clock (in seconds from the
beginning of the epoch (January 1, 1970). Programs which depend on
the representation of the time (by timezone and daylight or standard
time) will execute twice in the fall if they occur between 1 and 2 am
on the day of the change. Hence cron jobs should not be run between
1 and 2 on that day if running the job twice on the same day will
a problem.
