Mounting a file system changes ownership of mount point

Env: AIX 3.2.5

Desc:

When customer mounts one of their file systems, the ownership changes
from root/system to username/system.

Action:

When you mount a file system, the inode of the directory it is
mounted over is taken over or covered up. With the file system
unmounted, the ls -id command on /dir might come back with an inode
of 452. After you mount a filesystem over /dir, "ls -id /dir" would
come back with an inode of 2, instead.

Because of this, the original ownership and permissions will be
supplanted by the file system's root directory attributes. I had the
customer mount the file system and change the attributes to what he
wanted. After that, mounting and unmounting left the same permissions
on the file system mount point.
