What is the maximum SDLC data rates on the AIX MPQP adapter?

Q: What is the maximum SDLC data rates on the AIX MPQP adapter.
A: 64 Kbs on all ports at the same time internal,
but that because RS-232D has signal limits,
the last two ports should only be used up to 19.2k.
 ...
 Q: Are there faster adapters?
A: ARTIC real-time interface cards can go faster, but neither AIX SNA
nor AIX include drivers for the real-time ARTIC adapter.
You may want to contact TPS, 210.496.1984, about driver support.
    ...
TPS's SNA supports the MPQP with AIX drivers and with their own
TPS/PortMaster driver. With AIX device drivers they have the same
speed restriction, but with their TPS/PortMaster driver, their SNA
    supports 1.54Mb (T1 line) with a V.35 connection.
TPS also sells an ARTIC card with their own drivers which is
supported by their SNA. The ARTIC card supports 2,4,6,and 8 ports.
T1 links are supported only on the 6-port V.35 interface board.
The maximum aggregate speed for both the MPQP adapter (with the
TPS/Portmaster driver) and the ARTIC Portmaster adapter is 2Mb.
    ...
Note that AIX SNA and AIX provide device drivers and adapters for
other DLC's including Token Ring (both 16Mb and 4Mb), QLLC,
and Ethernet. If line speed is important, AIX SNA V2.1.1 over AIX 3.2.5
Token Ring is currently the best solution.
