Adding another softtype to SDE WorkBench/6000

Question:

How do a add another file extension to the softtypes in SDE
WorkBench/6000?

Response:

Add the new softtypes in the directory 
        /usr/softbench/config/softtypes/config/$LANG

After adding the softtypes, run the program 
        /usr/softbench/etc/merge-types

This program will merge all of the softtypes from the different files
into /usr/softbench/config/softtypes/C and this file will then be used
by WorkBench.

Do not put multiple entries with the same extension into the file.  This
will confuse WorkBench.
