Significance of the Administrative User when creating a user in SMIT

Question:

I am currently adding various users to his system and, while in
SMIT, was wondering what the significance of the ADMINISTRATIVE User?

What would be the ADMINISTRATIVE User's function as opposed to the root
user? Can administrative users do backups and lvm maintenance?

Response:

Administrative users are automatically added to the system group. They
can perform many system functions, but do not have the absolute
authority of root.

Members of the system group can mount and unmount filesystems, and perform
mirroring functions.

Administrative users can change passwords of all users in that group
except other administrative users.

You must be root to change block sizes on taping functions, and to perform
system backups.
