Customer boots from Sysback tape, attempts restore, but part way through
the error below is issued:
"sbread: media surface error"
"restbyname: no writer on input pipe. Exiting."
Customer can duplicate this failure on three or more tapes.

I). Dirty Drive
A. Have customer clean drive.
B. If this works, then drive was dirty.
II). If not, have customer load this tape into a different drive.
Other drive can be local or on another machine if configured as
a sysback server.
If this works, then the originating tape drive may have misaligned heads.
If not, the tape may be bad. Try another set of tapes.

Caveats:
It is not required to restore your system from the same
media type used to boot
Boot media must be of the same aix and sysback versions as will
be restored from backup.
Network type for maintenance mode restore must be fddi, ethernet
or token ring.
