Problems finding include files in other than /usr/include directory

Question:

     AIC is unable to find include files in the program in unless 
     they are /usr/lpp/AIC12 and /usr/include.

Response:

Need to change /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Aic12.
Change the Aic12.cflags resource in the file from:
        Aic12.cflags:  -D_NO_PROTO 
to:
        AIC12.clfags: -D_NO_PROTO -I/your_directory_to_search
