Getting logged out at a 3151 when running various commands.

Question:

AIX 3.2.4 

Every time I run a variety of commands I get kicked out of the 
session back to the login prompt. These commands include lslpp -A,
errpt -a, and ls from the /usr/lib/X11 directory. This 
IBM 3151 terminal, connected as tty0 via a serial port, 
has had problems in the past running the vi editor and it is
the only terminal currently having this problem. I initially 
encountered the problem while installing AIXwindows 1.2.3 via smit
when I was kicked out in the middle of the installation process.   

Response:

I told you to check the paging space and you had plenty of room. The
command to check it is lsps and if it needs to be increased you do
that via smit.

The problem was corrected by resetting the terminal from 25 x 80 to 24 x 80.
