Failed 3.2.5 update from CDRom

Question:

I booted from my 3.2.5 CDRom install media and installed the 
base operating system (BOS).  However, I cannot install AIXWindows
or the text formatting lpps.  Can you help?

Response:

We were having problems with missing PTFs.  At this point, you do have 
3.2.3 install media (CDROM), and will perform an overwrite install from 
there, then perform the upgrade to get your system to 3.2.5.

You have successfully installed 3.2.3 and now are ready to upgrade to 3.2.5.  
The upgrade is as follows:
    1)  install ptf U422467  (installp ptf).
    2)  install AIXWindows 1.2.3 (X11R5) through smit.
    3)  upgrade the bos with update_all.
    NOTE:  You need to mount the CDRom with a mount point of
           /usr/sys/inst.images.

You were having some problems installing some of the software and we 
found that you must now install the PMP portion of the install, as not all 
the install images were rebuilt for 3.2.5.  You must install U493250.  This 
solved your problems.
