SE cannot login to a non-default host from an X-Station

Question:

User has an X-Station Model 150.
After powering up, and getting the login window, the user wants to login
to a non-default system that is on the network. After user types in the
other system name, he is prompted to type in the user name. When user
types in root user, the error: 'unable to su to nobody' is received.

----------------

Response:

You will receive this message when the expiration date for "nobody"
has passed. The expiration date for nobody for the non-default machine
was '0', which means no expiration date. However, when the user
checked the expiration of nobody on the host that the X-Station booted
from, and it had expired.
The user changed nobody's expiration date to '0', committed it, logged
off, and was able to login on the non-default system.
