Need to force HP LJ3 to use second paper tray.

I need some help making my HP LJ3 see the second tray.  Right now
it only pulls from the first tray.  I am at AIX 3.2.3.

Here is the procedure we used to make your HPLJ III use the second
paper tray.  There appears to be problem with aix at 3.2.3.  This did
work for you, although other configurations may require something
different.

I found that the Attribute file did not contain an s2 parameter to
tell the paper size of the second paper tray, and the default in the
wQ parameter was pulling from tray 1.  Here is what I did to remedy
the situation:

Step 1. Edit the attributes file as follows:

         Search the file for s1.
         The entry for s1 looks something like this:

         :447:s1::1

         I opened a line beneath this one, and since 448 would
         be the next number in the sequence, I typed the following:

         :448:s2::2

         I figured that this would define Legal Paper for tray 2,
         and this was confirmed when I listed the attributes.
         I changed _u to 2, but paper still came out of tray 1.
         I added the wQ which is again the paper size for
         the paper source selected by the _u attribute, but I
         found that the value of s1 was being defaulted to.
         The following is wQ BEFORE I modified it:

                 %?%G_O%{3}%\<%t%?%G
                 _u%{3}%=%t%Gs4%e%G
                 s0%;%e%?%G_u%{3}%=
                 %t%Gs3%e%Gs1%;%;%d

         I found that the last line pulls from tray 1 regarless
         of the value of _u.  I inserted the following between the
         %e and the ;%; on the last line:

                 %?%G_u%{2}%=%t%Gs2%e%Gs1%;%

         So now the wQ looks like the following:

                 %?%G_O%{3}%\<%t%?%G
                 _u%{3}%=%t%Gs4%e%G
                 s0%;%e%?%G_u%{3}%=
                 %t%Gs3%e%?%G_u%{2}
                 %=%t%Gs2%e%Gs1%;%;
                 %;%d

         My HP Laserjet III now pulls from the second Paper Tray.
