I can't telnet to my machine more than once.
Question:
I am running AIX 3.2.5 on a RISC 980. When I try to logon by
telneting, I can only open one session. If someone else is using
telnet, no other users can telnet in. I get a message that says:
All available login sessions are in use, connection closed.
We are using Ethernet.
Response:
If you are licensed for more than 2 users, you should increase the number of
licensed users with the command "smitty chlicense", or increase the value of
maxlogins in /etc/security/login.cfg.
Response:
He's ok with the increase in licenses, he asked how he can find out host
name for a particular IP address. I said yes, if that address is name
resolved to a hostname, in say /etc/hosts, or by a domain name server.
Said for him to try "host \" to get the hostname.
