I just got a mod 250 and I get a 186 on bootup

Question:

I have a brand new RISC System/6000 model 250 3.2.5 and I get a code 186 
in the LED window.  This code is not documented in the manuals I have.

What do I do?

Response:

This is a check stop error which occurs on IPL.  This LED code has not
been well documented as it is still fairly new and only occurs on the 
Power2 series computers.  Generally an LED code in this range indicates
a hardware problem.  Please call Hardware Support at 1-800-IBM-SERV and
they will dispatch a CE to come to your site to check out the system
hardware.
