Cannot do a mksysb on an AFS system

Question:

Q: When I do a mksysb, I get an error message:
mount: /afs has gfs type (4), and it fails. How do I fix this?

R: Andrew's file system has a gfs type of 4, and 2 kernel functions
(gfsadd, gfsdel) need the gfs type number to recognize a filesystem.
The user provides these numbers in the /etc/vfs file. The correct
entry for AFS should be "afs 4 none none".
