COMM: X25 using XTALK to AS400

Question:

I have a RS6000/340 at 3.2.4.  I get 'The call has been cleared with
cause 00 and diagnostic A2' and the following is the meaning from
manual GG24-3692-00 (X25 Cookbook);

dte not operational or no application listing

What do I need to do to correct this problem?

The cause 00 means:       Originated by the remote x.25 data terminal 
                          equipment (DTE).
The diagnostics A2 means: DTE not operational (level 2) or no
                          application listening (network).

Both error messages are consistent and mean that the remote DTE
is down or non-operational.  What is needed is to contact remote
X.25 location and verify their application or setup.  This should
correct the problem.

You stated that your local RS/6000 with X.25 connection to a AS/400
in Iceland is getting errors of Cause 00 and Diagnostics A2.  Your
X.25 carriers are Sprintnet and Tymnet.
