sysmon/6000 output interpretation question

Question:

We are at AIX 3.2.5 and have a question on Sysmon/6000. When I select the
monitor menu for program statistics, the page-faults column of the result, the
help on the item says that it is the count of pagefaults that have taken place
in the last 15secs, 1min, 15min, 1hr, etc.
But the output on our system shows that the pagefaults for the last 15mins is more 
the pagefaults for the last 1hr. And sometimes the pagefaults for the lats 1min is 
more than the last 15 mins. Am I interpreting this wrong ? 
Otherwise why is this happening so ?  I think, since the last 1 hr stats
include the last 15min stats, total page-faults in the last 1hr should equal
or exceed the number of page-faults in the last 15 mins, and so on.
Could someone explain this ?

Response:

Sysmon/6000 returns the pagefault, pagereclaims, etc values as an
average value over the time period not acutal values.
