NV/6000 - Status propagates through entire map instead of just parent.

Customer wants threshholding to occur at the parent map and not
the topology map level. Can this be done?

Response:

In this case the documentation states that threshholding for a submap
will affect the entire topology map. The customer wants to allow
propogation to occur only when a particular threshhold is hit for an
instance of a submap. The product is not designed to do this.

To cause the status not to propogate, the customer needs to locate the
object, edit the object, modify/describe the symbol, and change the
status source to not propogate for a single instance of an object
or object (for the entire class). Another approach to limit the status
propogation would be to unmanage each of the symbols in the map.
