Question about NV/6000.

Question:

We have an RS/6000 running 3.2.5 on which we have newly installed
NetView/6000. I know that NV produces IP maps and nice topology maps
showing us the geography of the currently active IP systems on the RS
console. I want to know if these maps can be made available to other
machines on the network. What I intend to do is to make these
graphical representations of the network, that the NV/6000 product
provides, available, at least in a read only mode, to users on the
network who might be using PCs in some cases. Is this feasible?

Response:

NV can be displayed on PC's or other X-window clients. The
requirement is for a X-window emulation package on the system, tcpip,
color monitor, and graphics adapter.
