DESC:
     Mismatch of link address' errors in the control desk.
     Why is an acknowledgement of a device not proprogated

RESPONSE:

The Netmon daemon must be configured to ignore the bit-swapping storage
flag for the 'mis-match of link address' events to be ignored.  
This is done from smit:  'smit nv6000 -> Configure -> Set options for 
NetView/6000 daemons -> Set options for topology, discovery, and database
daemons -> Set Options for netmon daemon'

You must not only acknowledge the icon representing the device, but, also
the line representing the connection.
